To make great wine you must have excellent grapes.
We concentrate on producing the best possible grapes that reflect both their terroir and the particular character of each vintage.

This approach demands extensive work by hand in our vineyards throughout the year. It starts with winter pruning, de-budding in the spring, crop thinning (green harvest) in July and de-leafing throughout the summer.

All this hard work leads up to the most exciting time of the year – the harvest in the autumn. We pick by hand – going through the vineyard several times to pick the grapes at the optimum moment.
Imagine the number of times throughout the year we pass each vine – we really are ‘vine gardeners’!
Our determination to ensure that our wines reflect their terroir and the unique character of each vintage continues in the winery. (We do not make ‘standard’ wines – every vintage our wines are different because the climatic conditions vary from year to year.)
Our lighter wines are bottled in the spring following the vintage to keep all their delicious fruit flavours, while our richer and bigger wines are matured for much longer before bottling.

From our range of wines that truly reflect where they are made you will be able to choose a wine that will give you pleasure for every occasion.
